I committed the patch now. I did some further cleanups, but I didn't 
remove the functions I mentioned. They were all in the liblinuxsampler 
API, and I thought it was nicer to change the API as little as possible. 
Instead I made sure GetMidiProgram returns the program set by the latest 
program change.
