Hm..interesting. Could you zoom in onto the onset (roughly the first 50ms) of
each beat? The "big picture" doesn't really show the effect I am seeing, you
have to look a lot closer.

Mine says 2.0.0.svn31; I don't know how to retrieve the Subversion version
from the binary, though.
