I am really happy and enjoying to be a member of this
group. What we say linux is a open source and all
packages such as apache, mysql etc. are freely
available for download and we dont have to pay for it.
My question is if we are not selling it where from the
fund for the development come in. Obviously there
could be some giant companies who would be managing
for the funds at their own cost what I believe.
Is there any other way which could not be in my
knowledge. Would appreciate if some one can clarify
the concept of free open source.
