Interestingly, I was checking out this model just a few hours before DK showed me his HP 2133 at the LUG today.
The size and price of the Aspire look good, but overall, I'm leaning towards the HP, due to its bigger hard drive, 6 cell battery, and a few other minor features make it worth an extra couple of hundred dollars for me (which you don't quite pay if you get online with the discount/rebate that they're offering).
Not sure if they have this for the Aspire yet, but there is an HP 2133 friendly version of Ubuntu out now called "Minbuntu".
