+1 here to this thought

Instead of using the windows guide to point out the flaws in windows perhaps
beating up your customers or friends, linux and mac users should be reading
their own securing guides. If not also focusing efforts on making this even
less painful (wow the update packages on ubuntu screen is gloriously scary
to an end user in the guide below).

Security regardless of the operating system is no joke, just look at your
spam traps and information on bot nets.
