I was simply quoting the description I saw of the document on the web, I was in no way trying to offend anyone on the list. I am often asked why Linux or Mac and not Windows; for a lot of people this document may answer some questions, which was my suggestion.
Forgive me for not being specific, I should have pointed out chapter 2 (How Windows Tracks Your Behavior – and How to Stop It ). It is true, there is a ton of Linux documentation and howto's, including those on howto secure a Linux machine, which I might add are helpful to much of the community. However..... I don't recall any documentation on howto secure your Linux server/desktop from Linus Torvald or the Kernel Development Team. I guess one of the big differences is that when you are hardening you machine, you might have to harden it from M$ as well when using Windows. I have seen debugging software built into distributions like Ubuntu that ASK if you would like to send your error messages or hardware specs to Canonical, but that is clearly different. Chris...
