For me this all breaks down to the registration process. You can't get a .gov or .edu without being one. Why not make it a requirement to have a business license to get a .com, and a non-profit for a .org and so on...
To be a proper .org you have several members, elected or voluntary that must be registered. Of course this could be faked, but im just saying. It would prevent this whole mess. -Chris may contain traces of Cynicism and Sarcasm On Thu, Jul 30, 2009 at 5:39 PM, Peter Manis<[email protected]> wrote: > TGIFOS > > On Thu, Jul 30, 2009 at 7:36 PM, Jason Burris <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> NonCentOS >> BlueCapOS >> >> :wq! >> jason >> >> >> >> On Thu, Jul 30, 2009 at 3:52 PM, Dino K<[email protected]> wrote: >> > Maybe it's time for a fork. >> > >> > Taking new names. >> > >> > ForkOS >> > 2CentOS >> > >> > Can't think of any good ones... >> > >> > _______________________________________________ >> > LinuxUsers mailing list >> > [email protected] >> > http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers >> > >> > >> _______________________________________________ >> LinuxUsers mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers > > > > -- > Peter Manis > (678) 269-7979 > > _______________________________________________ > LinuxUsers mailing list > [email protected] > http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers > >
