If so, my advice to you is to (as soon as possible) is to image the drive. If all goes well, a dd (or dd-like) rip is best. If something is wrong with the device, then you'll likely have to get creative. If you don't want to worry about that, boot to System Rescue (it's on the Gentoo-based System Rescue CD) and use their tools to do a quick search and pull off of it. One cool thing about that tool is that it's very fast (assuming the drive still works) and it will quickly put stuff in separate folders. If you use this tool, make sure that you that you have a USB drive, and you should be cool. Any questions, let us know. Several of us have used this tool and can likely help you with it.
