Im already doing replication. But with mysql master, its pretty tricky thing to mirror, since you can only write to one(in most cases). Been looking into http://mysql-mmm.org/
One of the issues I was having is that the mysql server was 'working' even with a dead raid controller. You could still read from it... just not write, got to love Linux. So your 'router' has to be very smart. It has to know to switch to the backup when the master master isnt working right. That is one of the major issues im trying to solve. And it has to be 'real time'. -- Trevor Benedict On Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 6:57 PM, Dino K <[email protected]> wrote: > I'd still say having replicated MySQL is the best scenario. > > > > _______________________________________________ > LinuxUsers mailing list > [email protected] > http://socallinux.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/linuxusers > >
