I guess I don't need to defend to the defend the awesomeness of wordpress as
a blogging CMS, you came to your senses.

As far as Django, I use it exclusively for all my customers and it is super
great... but it is not a CMS - it is a python web development framework! You
have to compare it to PHP's CodeIgniter more than a full blown CMS. Granted,
there are Django-based CMS apps/plugins (django-cms, pinax), but writing one
from scratch is so straight forward, they I have not bothered with one yet.
