Paul, Just putting in a shameless plug.
One of our Free Open Source Products is our Web Business Suite. The Order Portal is a cross between ECommerce and CMS. It is Java and runs under Apache/Tomcat using Postgresql as the database. Here is our web site with some info: www.randrinc.com Also a customer site who has really done a great job using the Order Portal (www.hirekogolf.com) and he also uses Word Press for his blog. All in all he has done a terrific job at marketing over the web, plus they have great prices on golf clubs. And a couple other sites, so you can get a feel for it. www.arrowheadbrass.com, www.uniqueglassworks.com, www.freepartyideasforkids.com (where I keep all my ice cream recipes LOL). We are working on a new release to get it out before the end of April. We always put it up on Sourceforge, and starting last year on Launchpad and also as an Ubuntu PPA. Thanks Ann Richmond Paul Saenz wrote: > I have already come up to speed with wordpress which is pretty much a > pile of trash IMLO, but is popular and cheap.
