Just finished downloading Ubuntu 11.04 and will install it tonight or
tomorrow. I ran Unity some time ago, but have been using the regular
Gnome 2 for a bit now. Since I am going to do the clean install I
decided to install Gnome 3 just to see what it is all about. Its
pretty slick. Nicely polished and runs pretty well.

Installed quite smoothly onto 10.10.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell gnome3-session

Anyone take the plunge? I'm going to see how much I like this release
of Unity but might just go ahead and install Gnome 3 as it seems to
work quite well.
