I was really enjoying it for a couple months there. Then I began having some issues. Various crashes at login and odd behavior. Obviously its BETA. This went on for a 2ish weeks.
Now the system won't even boot after a hard lock during an apt-get upgrade. I'm getting kernel panic on boot and unable to boot into single user or recovery mode. That is all unrelated to Gnome 3. Looks like the drive is failing. While trying to backup my data via a live CD I'm getting read i/o errors. So I've got a new drive in the system and getting ready to reinstall. I'm debating whether to go with Gnome 3 again. I don't know if the issues I was having were early indicators of drive failure or issue with Gnome 3 or not.
