Does it come with a RAID adapter? Most CMOS, although touted to have
"hardware RAID" is only actually using software RAID (nforce, etc..)
and Linux will only support software RAID if you have an onboard/CMOS
RAID functionality.

You will definitely need a RAID adapter card, or some call it an HBA
card (host bus adapter).
