OK. This is the machine we've got (http://www.tyan.com/ product_barebones_spec.aspx?pid=338). It has 2, 4-port SAS/SATAII backplanes. I get the feeling that is not a hardware raid controller. Is it?
Regardless, after 2 days of trying, I finally got Ubuntu 8.04 installed using software raids. Thank you all for taking your time to assist me. -Tripp On Oct 21, 8:14 pm, "hard wyrd" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Does it come with a RAID adapter?
