Yes, I do. Sendmail is giving errors which clearly indicate it is trying to deliver to the local host and of course failing. I don't recall the exact errors, and they have aged out of syslog. The point is, I haven't configured sendmail with an address for an SMTP server, because I did not spot a place to do so, and if there is no address specified in the command line, sendmail has no way to know where to send the message. If I've missed the configuration setting then I just need to know what / where it is. If the smtp address needs to go on the command line for mdadm, then I need to know its syntax. It would be great if there were some way to test it, as well, other than waiting for an event on the array.
