Some food for thought:
You may want to make sure that your web server is isolated from your
network (DMZ)

Take a look at IPCop (http://www.ipcop.org/) which can be run from a
low end PC with 2 or 3 Network cards.  This "appliance" will isolate
your internal and external resources, preventing someone from using
your system as a jumping point to your network.  Linux is more secure
than windows, but if someone has uninterrupted access to your system,
they may find a hole to jump through.
