OK I can now get it to boot to CD and the mepis login page comes up
with user names demo and root neither one has a password in the box
and won't accept blank password or anything else I try, any hints it
just always says login failed. Mepis is supposed to be easy to use
then they throw a dumb thing like that before you even get started, I
am extremely frustrated so I apologize for the rant. I can now get an
old Linux Live CD of Ubuntu5.04 to boot. Is there a way to use this to
repair files and load a Linux distribution?
