hi friends,
I desperately need your help. In my office we have local web
server running linux with apache. Now the developed ask me to install
the GD library in the server. I have downloaded the gd-2.0.35.tar.gz
from http://www.libgd.org/releases/ web site. and i extracted it in /
usr/local/gd-2.0.35. and then i given ./configure command to compile.
in between i got the error message stating that. "C preprocessor "/lib/
cpp" fails sanity check" see "config.log" file for more details. i
didn't find much detail in that log file. can anyone help me in this.
below i have mentioned the server detail
OS : Redhat Enterprises Linux ES Release
Kernal: 2.6.9-22 ELsmp on a i686
webserver location: /usr/local/apache
PHP location: /usr/local/apache
Let me know if you need any more details. urgent pls help me.
