Hi.
This is kind of an impossible question to answer. It all depends on your previous skills, experience, and so on. I took my RHCE 18 months ago after working full time as a linux sysadmin for about 6 months. But then again, I'd been using linux both home and at school for quite a while, although using linux at home/school is quite different from doing sysadmin stuff (which is what the RHCE exam focuses on). What you could do is to buy a RHCE study guide, and look through it and do a best guess as to how much time you will need to learn the material. And I strongly suggest you do the pre-assessment questionnaires ( https://www.redhat.com/apps/training/assess/), which will give you a some idea of your current skills.
