So what's the difference? Just the tools. Granted, some enterprise tools are not present in Ubuntu, so it is logical that you use RHEL for enterprise deployment because of these tools that will make an admin's work easier, and RHEL fills a niche requirement easily that will require some extra work if using Ubuntu. But Ubuntu is definitely not a failure - just some extra work.
