Subject: [linuxvadapav] df -h showing 100%

Hi everyone,

I have a linux box for which the root partition ("/") was almost full before.
So I deleted almost 2 GB of space but still when I use "df -h" command to check
the available space it shows me 100% use. The output of the "df -h" command is
as follows

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 59G 57G 0 100% /
/dev/sda2 122M 12M 105M 10% /boot
none 247M 0 247M 0% /dev/shm

Even thou the Used space is 2 GB less than the actual capacity but still the
%Use is 100. Also when a normal user logs in and tries to create a file or
directory it gives error messages as no space left on device.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tanmay
