My case is exactly the opposite. I can view the video files however, I can't hear the sound. I am able to hear system sounds though... It used to work well on my FC6 after some tweaking..The issue is that I have 2 sound cards..internal as well as an Creative sound Blaster connected in PCI slot..Tried enabling and testing each of them but am able to view movies and hear only system sounds, Am facing this issue on CentOS 4.
