i tried to resolve it and after doing a little googling i was able to
read about some tags which should be enabled for ftp access through
squid.

they were ftp_user, acl FTP proto ftp and then allowing it as
always_direct.
i also tried ftp_access myaclname allow

played a little bit wid iptables also.. and at last i was able to
open anonymous ftp websites.. but when it comes to non-anonymous
websites which required id and password to open.. i am getting same
error again and again.

hope you will help me and tell me where i was going wrong

thanks a lot.
