Hi

>From the original mail i could think of two problems.
1 : creating a sub domain. the user mentioned that he already has
www.domain.com. the only way i can think of creating a sub domain on the
same server is using dns so he can host a different set of web on the
subdomain.
2 : redirection of a specific page to a subdomain. the spefic page is on
main domain which already exists on the webserver ( i guess ) . This can be
acheived with the redirection which is referred by the link. but the
redirection will only work if he has a subdomain which is done by point 1.

Also as per me configuring DNS is a standard part of virtual hosting. kind
of standard followed by industry to have a proper planned infrastructure.

viket
