Designation or Position title :Unix Operations Engineer – Level 2 Location :Mumbai Work : 24 X 7 Hours/shifts, if any Rotating Shifts Primary Roles & Responsibilities ï‚•ï€ Support in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC). ï‚•ï€ Support the Clients over voice/chat/mail ï‚•ï€ Responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed / monitored. ï‚•ï€ Make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and if not escalated as per the escalation Matrix defined. ï‚•ï€ Report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports. ï‚•ï€ Audits of the setups done by the fellow engineers to make sure that the setup being handed over to the customer is done to the customer’s satisfaction. ï‚•ï€ Make sure that issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments. ï‚•ï€ Follow up with Vendors – hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes Experience Required ï€ºï€ 3- 6 yrs Education qualifications ï€ Any Graduate/BE/Btech Technical Skills (Mandatory) ï‚•ï€ Strong Linux OS fundamentals ï‚•ï€ Apache, MySQL, PHP Apps ï‚•ï€ Strong knowledge of DNS. ï‚•ï€ Knowledge of any Mail application like Qmail or Postfix. ï‚•ï€ Working knowledge on any one of branded hardware vendors like HP/Sun/IBM/Dell. ï‚•ï€ Knowledge of LDAP, Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere Application Servers and Any Backup application will be an added advantage, JBOSS Preferred qualifications ï‚•ï€ Graduation with RHCE / SCSE Mandatory soft skills ï‚•ï€ Ability to handle teams ï‚•ï€ Self-driven and motivated to achieve success ï‚•ï€ Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ï‚•ï€ Team player. ï‚•ï€ Assertive in communication, excellent communication skills and presentation skills If this opening interests you then kindly send across a copy of your updated CV menitoning your; Current CTC Expected CTC Notice period Total Experience Current company,current location Kindly do not change the subject of the mail.
