can you please explain it for those that don't know (including myself, I lost track of it once again)? I don't know of any distribution shipping the linuxwacom kernel module _because_ it is not upstream and we see an increasing number of emails of users not being able to use bamboos out-of-the box. This is only going to get worse and the current solution to download a tarball and install the kernel module from there is IMO not the ideal one at all.
