Compared to version 1 of patch set, the following changes occured: * I dropped patch that did an unneeded cleanup of processing a relative sample. I'll leave that for another day. * Updated comment on factorX/Y usage based on Ping's review comment. Not this comment gets deleted by last patch but is useful for understanding and any possible future revert.
