Sounds sensible to me.
I like the idea of getting a job well done with least effort. Automation
fits my philosophy.

Your README is very helpful. Foundamentally, I see no problem to merge this
patch to libwacom. But, I hope someone who has time, interest, and
knowledge can review and test the script before we merge it. With that
