Hello,

After an update of debian unstable udev was updated to version 0.090-4. From then on /dev/input/wacom was not made anymore Although

It was even worse with the previous version, nothing was not running anymore (like /dev/null not built)

I had a udev rule defined. After some research I saw that the rule was not correct for this version of udev. And udev was intolerant with wrong udev rules.

This is the old rule (also on the linux wacom website)

KERNEL="event*", SYSFS{idVendor}="056a", NAME="input/%k", SYMLINK="input/wacom%e"

And it should be this rule
KERNEL=="event*", SYSFS{idVendor}=="056a", NAME="input/%k",
SYMLINK="input/wacom%e"

And there is also a message complaining the ending %e is deprecated and should not be used anymore.

There should be a different between the /identification /and the /assingment/ keys. see http://reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html#basics
Could this be changed in the documentation?
grt,
