Maybe.. In some cases the device path (/dev/input/event2) can change from one connect to another and this can quite easily be fixed (the connect/disconnect thingy I have no clue about though). You may already have a symbolic link '/dev/input/wacom' that points to the latest connected tablet, in that case just replace the 'event2' with 'wacom' in the config.
