Hello, I have a similar problem than Oliver depicts yesterday. I am using a quite current Debian Sid with an Intuos 3 (Model: PTZ-430). Because the driver version 0.7.4 which is the newest version in Debian had the problem with the jittery cursor I downloaded the current version 0.7.6-3 and replaced my wacom_drv.so with the new prebuild one.
While the stylus works perfectly and the jitter with the cursor has gone, I now have another problem with the cursor: Especially when moving the mouse near to the border or when lifting one side of the mouse a little bit the cursor is freezing. Then moving or clicking the mouse has no effect until I fully lift the mouse from the tablet and put it back on it. It seems to be easier to reproduce the lower the value of the "Speed" option is set or if it is not defined at all. I then compiled the current kernel module to be sure to have a matching pair of drivers but no change. This is very annoying. It seems the driver loses the contact to the device or gets unsynchronized with it until the mouse is lifted out of reach. This happens quite often. To Oliver's first question: I think the "Suppress" option is only relevant for pressure sensitive tools like the stylus to control the pressure threshold which counts as click. To Oliver's second question: If I remember correctly when the wheel acts opposite than expected it has something to do with a non matching old kernel module. Try to update your kernel module wacom.ko to the same version than the X driver wacom_drv.so. I have some questions too: What exactly are the options "Twinview" and "TVResolution" for? I hoped I could use the full tablet area for every of my both screens on my twinview setup through hitting the left or right border of the tablet area. Or should I try something with "modetoggle"? Could it help to change the screen? Is it possible to use a button of the pad to toggle the mode for the stylus? It would be even better if it would be possible to switch between the two screens with a button of the pad. By the way, there is an error in your webpage in the HOWTO section 3.9: "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/groups/l/li/linuxwacom/phpinc/howto/buildhid6.inc.php on line 5". I noticed it when selecting ALL: http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/all Thank you for your continued support of the Linux Wacom drivers and keep up the good work.
