Hi,

I installed an Intuos3 6x8 under Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper. The installed
driver was 0.7.2, but Option "Speed" didn't work for my cursor device. I
installed 0.7.6-3 from source, now "Speed" works fine, but it seems
"Suppress" doesn't work. My first Wacom input device in xorg.conf is:

Section "InputDevice"
  Driver "wacom"
  Identifier "cursor"
  Option "Device" "/dev/input/wacom"
  Option "Type" "cursor"
  Option "USB" "on"
  Option "Speed" "5.0"
  Option "Suppress" "0"
EndSection

My mouse still can not be positioned smoothly. It is very hard to point
to a certain position because when I move the mouse slowly the cursor
doesn't move. I have to move with a certain speed, but then it's very
hard to postion the cursor exactly.

This might be the same issue as I replied to Stefan. I'll take a look at
this issue soon.

My first question is "Suppress" the option to change? What else can I
configure to get it work?

Did you try wacomcpl to change speed?

My second question is about the wheel: it is working exactly in the
opposite of my Logitech mouse, which is really confusing. I'd like to
switch directions. Where can I change that?

Did you update kernel drivers?
