I can not reproduce this issue on my system. As I understand (I can be wrong), Gimp Zoom in/out is supported through keys PageUp/PageDown and Up/Down arrows not by buttons 4,5,6,7. That's why I am working on keystroke and modifier support now. I'll make the driver work as it was in relative mode to keep Gimp work properly, at least for single monitor setup.
