There are two ways to get more information in the Xorg.log.0 file. The first 
one is to set the following option in the Device section in your config file:

  Option "DebugLevel" "1"

This will require that you restart your Xserver, so an alternate way of 
getting more information from the driver is to run the following command:

  xsetwacom set stylus DebugLevel "1"

I'd recommend to start with a value of 6 on this option. If you want much more 
information 11 is about the max that is useful.

If you need help to decipher the log and see where the problem may be, don't 
hesitate to send the list relevant parts of the log and we'll see what we can 
do.
