Chuq asked,

| Does anyone know of any systems that actually enforce case
| sensitivity on a user name?

Sorry, with no email administration experience (just list administration
experience) I can't say for my life what the system was, but I do remember
using one where, if the local part was a real logname, it was case-insensi-
tive, but if it was an alias, it was case-sensitive. Thus, mail for
logNAme@site would be delivered wherever ~logname/.forward said, or to
/var/mail/logname by default; but if "alIas" was defined and "aLiaS" was not,
mail to alIas@site would be delivered per its expansion in the aliases list
while mail to aLiaS@site would bounce on grounds of unknown user.
