If all of the bounces are consistently held for six months, I agree, there is no difference. The daily volume of bounces would be relatively sable. The bounces would just be old. If they send six months worth of bounces twice a year, it could be a major problem. It sounds like the complaint is that a huge backlog of bounces have been accumulated and these were sent all at once. A huge surge of accumulated returns could overwhelm nearly any list host site. - murr -
