Hey, CFers! The ColdFusion Crier here again!  Your Board has been hard at work on our upcoming event.  Weve made it even better than I first announced!! Can you believe it?? Of course you can't.  It's just unbelievable!!

It is a rare occasion when Mr. David Penton, the International Systems Technical Lead at JC Penney and an MCP, or Microsoft Certified Professional, has time to speak to a group such as ours and when he became available your Board JUMPED at the opportunity because we knew you would want to hear this SQL Server guru talk about Stored Procedures. It is an advanced topic that can have a huge impact on performance and scalability. David will take our first hour beginning 7PM (food at 6:30) next Tuesday, May 8th.

The second hour will be a veritable cornucopia of topics for your intellectual, dining pleasure!  We pared the subjects down since Mr. Penton agreed to talk to us so now we have 2 tables with a different subject and discussion leader/expert at each. Thanks go to all those who answered Milo's Survey recently. Our top 2 vote getters are where the topics came from.

Table 1 = Structures and Arrays

Table 2 = Error Handling

After Mr. Penton's presentation, the plan is to finish up the first "table discussion" in about 30 minutes so that people can move over to the next table if they wish. That way, everyone can hear both topics up close and personal. So, there will be something for every level of expertise and interest. This month, thanks to Milo and our volunteer Discussion Leaders/Experts, we have covered it all. So, COME ONE, COME ALL !!

WHEN AND WHERE? Tuesday night, May 8th at Knowledge Development Center at 7301 N. State Hwy 161 (first floor of the southern building). Maps attached. Food starts at 6:30PM and the door locks at 7:00pm so PLEASE get there before then if you can. We'll try to have someone at the door to let late arrivals in. Call 972-910-9450 if you cannot find the place.
