Studio is being renamed Homesite+ and will be included with DWMX. DWMX is now a mixture of Studio and DW from what I can tell from using it today.

Its actually pretty cool because you can set it up like Studio but its not just geared towards CF. It has extentions and and the like for ASP, .NET(C# and VB),PHP,JSP,CF... I would highly suggest you guys play with it. It seems that this will be the only thing from here on out other than Homesite+.

Also, if you guys are not already a member of CF-Talk at www.houseoffusion.com, go join, this is being discussed quite a bit with other developers and people from MM.

Subject: ColdFusion and Dreamweaver MX

Is ColdFusion Studio taking a hike? In all the literature I can find from Macromedia concerning CFMX, the only editting software I can find is Dreamweaver MX... no CF Studio :(

On a side note, I read an article on ZDNet that Dreamweaver is used by over 80 percent of Web Design professionals... can this number be anywhere near accurate? I don't know which web design professionals they spoke with but none of the many that I converse with on a regular basis will touch it. Everyone I know typically uses CF Studio, Homesite, BBEdit or Visual Studio to create their code. Not a single one uses Dreamweaver (or GoLive or any comparable app)
