Direct quote from a Macromedia employee earlier today: "CF Studio is being integrated into Dreamweaver MX. We have something called "Studio", but it's a bunch of products bundled together. It's not the 'old' Studio."
I don't know to what degree the term "integrated" applies, but presumably all (or most) of the functionality of Studio would be carried over. In all the literature I can find from Macromedia concerning CFMX, the only editting software I can find is Dreamweaver MX... no CF Studio :( On a side note, I read an article on ZDNet that Dreamweaver is used by over 80 percent of Web Design professionals... can this number be anywhere near accurate? I don't know which web design professionals they spoke with but none of the many that I converse with on a regular basis will touch it. Everyone I know typically uses CF Studio, Homesite, BBEdit or Visual Studio to create their code. Not a single one uses Dreamweaver (or GoLive or any comparable app) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This email server is running an evaluation copy of the MailShield anti- spam software.
