BTW, has anybody experienced this problem/bug with DWMX? It has
caused me to stop using DWMX for now.
Background:
We have a small office of 6 people who all use both DW4 and CFStudio
4.5. We have only one server to which we connect using the FTP functions
of both these programs. I started using DWMX, but my peers have not. We do
not use check-in/check-out (although I know we probably should and we probably
will in the near future).
Symptoms:
My co-worker is working on files using CFStudio. He saves the files,
but may or may not close them. He tests these files on the server and the
changes have been made.
When I open these same files in DWMX, I see the code that was there before
he made (and saved) the changes. Therefore, when I save these files, they
overwrite whatever he has done.
The problem does not occur when I use CFSTudio.
I've logged the bug w/MM, but I wondered if others had experienced this,
too.
