Right, I want to avoid installing any OCR software on clients PC's. I wasn't sure if 
there was a way to do this.
Bascailly, on-the-fly OCR?

The client would scan the form and via a upload template send the file to the server. 
When they are done uploading all their files for the day they would click a "index" 
button which would send the files from the repository to another directory where the 
images are stored. At that time they are indexed (info saved to a database the user 
keys in like invoice#, company etc). At the same time the image (.jpg, gif, or pdf) 
would be OCR'd for future searching.

Would the below COM object do this OCR part?
