Based on what I have seen here at my office, HTTPS runs on a completely
different server.  This may not be true of all HTTPS sites, but ours is set
up to require authentication into that server if you are running a script
residing on an HTTP server.

Hi Gary,

Could you explain what you mean by this?  I thought HTTPS was just a
secured encrypted HTTP protocol, regardless of if the site was running
any type of login authentication.
