Not all websites will be affected by the upcoming change. Your website may be affected if it features active content that is embedded in an HTML web page using object, embed, or applet tags. Some of these types of content include:

  • Macromedia Flash, Shockwave, or Authorware content
  • Java applets
  • Real media content
  • QuickTime media content
  • Custom ActiveX controls
  • Other ActiveX controls or plug-ins

Subject: Internet Explorer browser 'Active Content' changes ......

So do the new Internet Explorer browser  'Active Content' changes affect cfm files?
I thought I read somewhere that the IE active content changes will affect any dynamically generated (non static) pages regardless of asp, cfm ..........
