That CartWeaver2 looks ok too, but it doesn't have anywhere near the features of X-cart. In X-cart, you can customize the customer information and registration forms; you can easily setup real-time shipping using Intershipper or UPS Online Tools, USPS and FedEx by rate tables and you can do an automatica markup by wight or price; you can manage your newsletters and even send them out through the system; you can print off shipping labels... Those are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head.

It's $300 but, it's a well tested mature application. - Daniel Elmore -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Chad Olivier Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 10:28 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: ecommerce systems I'm looking for an ecommerce system. Has anyone used any third party systems for this? Here is what I need: Easy to add/update items in the store handle taxes multiple types of shipping multiple payment options including directly processing credit cards. Niceties of course: open source free or cheap licensing I have written/maintained ecommerce sites in the past for previous employers but I now have a client on a side line solo gig that wants a shopping system so I want to look at alternatives to building my own to save on time of building one myself for now.
