Here's what's on deck for our next meeting, which will be on February
8, 2005 at Lee Financial.

CFC-101: An Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming in ColdFusion

In the first half of the meeting Matt Woodward will give an overview
of CFCs, what they are, the many cool things you can do with them, and
how they're being used in the ever-increasing Object-Oriented
Programming movement in the ColdFusion community. If you've heard
about CFCs but haven't used them yet, or if you've started using them
but want to go deeper, you won't want to miss this presentation. As a
basic introduction before the meeting you might want to read Matt's
article "What's an Object?"

Tom Schreck's cfcPowerTools (http://www.cfcpowertools.com)

In the second half of the meeting, our own Tom Schreck will be
demonstrating cfcPowerTools, a new tool for programatically generating
CFCs, database tables, and data entry form. cfcPowerTools increases
your productivity and produces reliable and consistent results.
cfcPowerTools is a code generator for CFCs and it supports round trip
editing plus a whole lot more.

Tom Schreck has been working with ColdFusion since version 2 and has
given presentations to the DFW CFUG on various topics such as Fusebox
and XML. He is a Macromedia Certified ColdFusion MX Developer.

Hope to see you all there--BRING A FRIEND OR THREE!

Matt
