That's a good question--I've noticed the same behavior in some of the
Captivate stuff we've done.  The preloader goes to 60% (IIRC) and just
sit there for a while.  I can see how people on a slow connection
might think it's hung.

You might want to post your question in the rich forms forum on
macromedia.com.  Mike Nimer, the engineer behind Flash Forms, checks
there pretty regularly.
