It definitely can index CLOBs, not so sure about BLOBs.  I did some
quick hunting around and Verity does have a product that will index
BLOBs, but I'm not sure if that capability is built into the version
that ships with CF or not.  I'll try and look some more later and see
if I can find anything specific.
