Actually, the fatality estimates for Hiroshima and Nagasaki stand at around
360,000. These deaths are counted through the end of 1949 and are
attributed both to the radioactive fall out, and lack of medical care (only
3 poorly equiped hospitals remaned operational after the bombing, there were
more than 30 before the bombing!)
