Fact is neither 1.0 nor 2.0 is close to the lineart. 1.0 is big-extremities-small-center, 2.0 is balanced-but-slim. The lineart is almost as meaty as Guncannon! Is this really the lineart that's used in the animation? I seem to remember a taller/slimmer Zeta. > The 1.0 design actually reflect a little bit of Katoki/0083 style of the Yeah I could have said Katoki too, but I suspect it's a bit more widespread to other anime charaters/robots. > time. Other parts of the 1.0 and other Bandai kits of the time had no problem molding curvy parts of any size. It's got to be an artistic choice rather than technical limitation. Rather, I wonder if designers and illustrators were influenced by the angular designs examplified by the F-117 Nighthawk stealth bomber. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
